Habits that are destroying our mental health
Mental health is talked about quite a lot now, slowly the stigma surrounding mental health seems to be disappearing. Why is it that mental health has become a concern suddenly? Mental health affects our thoughts, actions and how we navigate the stresses and challenges of today’s world. With our lifestyle becoming faster, food choices changing and the impact of social media increasing mental health disorders affect young teens as well as adults these days. Caring for our mental health takes a back seat in all this rush, we don’t even realise the things that we do daily and how they harm us. Bad mental health habits affect the way we think and feel about ourselves. Just like eating pizza for dinner every day will lead to an increase in cholesterol and blocked arteries. Bad mental health habits will also lead to anxiety, panic, depression and anger. What are these habits that negatively affect our mental health? Overuse of social media- staying connected and updated is good, but spendin
